Deborah's love affair with hair began around the age of 9. She received her cosmetology license in 1990 & since then has become an expert & industry leader in the field of coloring, cutting & styling. Over the past 25 years she has gained extensive knowledge along with varied skill sets in this business. Deborah has an extensive resume in this field which includes hands on experience as well as educating other stylists for companies such as L’Oreal, Lasio, Nioxin and most recently Chromastics .  Deborah is constantly working on her own innovative techniques always pushing the boundaries of hair while keeping up with current styles and trends. In 2006,after working in various salons for others, Deborah decided it was time to become her own boss and was able to buy the salon she had been working in Since then she has transformed The Emerald Door into a boutique salon & spa providing beauty & rejuvenation treatments to her high end clientele of Huntington Village and the surrounding area and some even travel hour or more to see Deb!  Text for appointment 631-335-0505
